The last Tiburon Compilations have been a big success. 2016 the Tiburon was awarded with the Lust & Leben Magazin Award for the “Best Ibiza Compilation“. Selector Lorenzo al Dino, producer, label owner and resident DJ at the Tiburon Beach Club has been marked by a highly-motivated approach digging into all corners of fresh dance music.
On the anticipated Vol.4, Lorenzo al Dino delivers a new compilation order on 2 CDs with 25 Tracks. This time CD1 “Sunset“ is not a chill / lounge starter as in general, but instead an organic & deep house mix with an uplifting overall performance. “I realised that people have had an overdose of chill / lounge music when they are at our beach club. They want to be animated immediately to dance, and they want action right now “, Lorenzo Al Dino explains the reason for his courage for a change.
Tunes from RAZAL – “My Trouble“ (Original Mix), a real underground burner, Moon Rocket ft. Bel-Ami – “To The Sun“ (Moon Mix), an organic house track with a strong Little Louie Vega touch or Spiritual Soul – “Formentize“, a live set, fill CD1 with a mix from deep house, vocal house and acoustic house.
CD 2 “Sundance“ pushes with tech house even more into techno. The mix accelerates step by step including tracks from Just Her & Nandu ft. Kieran Fowkes – “Forget Our Love“ (Original Mix), a successful newcomer from England with a flamboyant techhouse track, same as the tune WhoMadeWho – “Dynasty“ which pops up as a vocal techhouse in a forceful Jimi Jules remix . Mattia Pompeo ft. Haptic – “Dismantle“ (Just Her Remix) complete the round-up besides many others.
Arrangements on this Compilation are a model for how to keep things dynamic by teasing clear melodies in a good mood on a profound and luxuriant depth and capturing your attention, while it sticks with you.
The history of the Tiburon Beach Club in Formentera is not only transported by the tunes but also over the illustrations on the CD cover and the booklet. Makes it a whole world by itself.
